Supporting our Mission

Monetary giving is always welcome to help support program costs as well as to purchase sought-after new books such as graphic novels and culturally and linguistically inclusive titles. We have found that graphic novels are the key to bringing the online generation back to reading and are not only met with excitement, but shrieks of joy when they catch sight of them.  In addition, representation in literature is empowering and linguistically diverse titles help parents who do not speak English support their child’s literacy so we strive to include them in our collections.

We are able to make donations go further by purchasing books at much lower prices than typical retail through First Book, the Scholastic Literacy Partnership, local library sales and Goodwill.
