InspireLit is an Alexandria, Virginia nonprofit started in 2016 by co-founders, Jen Kenealy and Erica Jones, who are moms and teachers sharing a love of books and children. We created InspireLit to ensure that all children in our community experience the joy of literacy. By building bridges between resources and needs, we strive to make sure that children across Alexandria have access to inspiring books. Our hope is that our model will be replicated throughout other communities. We are supported by a dedicated board and team of volunteers who support our mission and spread the joy of literacy throughout our community.
